ABOUT ME

I am a Software Engineer living in Phoenix, Arizona and am currently working as a web developer for Fervor Creative. I am a lover of UX/UI and creating applications that make life easier for all. I love a good puzzle and the "Eureka!" moment that follows when I solve it. I love talking and getting to know others as well as working through problems together.

I am looking to work with a team where I can further learn and expand my knowledge as well as be a helpful asset in building the next ‘big thing’.

Space may be “The Final Frontier”

but software development is “The Next Frontier” and I look forward to being a part of that journey.

P.S. Sorry if your mind exploded from mixing Star Wars and Star Trek together.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Jukebox Github

Created layout using CSS Grid. First time using audio elements. Includes little animation and countdown timer for songs.

Bulletin-Board Github

Created using React w/ Hooks and Bootstrap. Used Google Firebase to store data. Can be run from multiple browsers and see new completed posts. Will attempt to work with MongoDB once needing to add Database.

Reel Collaboration Github

Created using React w/ Hooks and Bootstrap.. Using Google Authenication currenty for Sign-In/Sign-Up. Will be adding React Router.

Work in Progress - Need to update to new version of firebase for site to build and deploy.

BOOTCAMP PROJECTS

Chirps Github

This was my first project working with a back-end developer. Used Fetch requests to communicate with Ruby on Rails. Worked with Json and Session Storage. Completed within a 4 day time-span.

Taradiddle Github

Learned how to better manage a product from start to finish using the github workflow. Worked with Oauth for Twitter Authorization. Used Google Charts. Used fetch requests to pull twitter info and workout regement from Back-end.

Notes Github

Used Bulma instead of Bootstrap. Built using React and react-router. Worked with Store.js in order to save and store notes for future use. Worked on design for a good portion of this project. First full/complete project using React.
